A radiologist dictates a report in front of her monitors

Speed up report turnaround 2x.

Plexo supports the radiologist through the whole report: it transcribes the dictation, checks that it is complete and consistent, fixes inconsistencies and leaves a structured report ready to sign.

How it works

This is how a report comes together with Plexo.

Whole-spine MRI Male patient · 47 years · Neck and low back pain
Recording dictation Clinical validation Ready to approve
REC 01:18
Procedures to report Cervical spine Thoracic spine Lumbar spine

Uh, okay, thoracic spine: physiological kyphosis preserved. Vertebral bodies of normal height and um… signal preserved. Lumbar spine: disc protrusion at let's see… L4-L5 with mild left foraminal narrowing. Conus medullaris in normal position.

The cervical spine hasn't been dictated

The order is for a whole-spine MRI, and only the thoracic and lumbar segments were reported.

Lumbar spine

L4-L5 disc protrusion with mild left foraminal narrowing. Conus medullaris in normal position. No abnormal enhancement after contrast administration.

Features

Everything an imaging department needs.

Built for the pace of a reading room: fewer clicks, more voice. Every feature adapts to the way each radiologist works.

Voice templates

Call up the template by voice. The report builds itself.

Say the template's name and Plexo loads the study structure. You only dictate what changes; the rest is already written.

Voice activation

Start, pause and close the report with voice commands, without touching the mouse.

“Plexo, new report”

Custom templates

Each radiologist and each center builds their own templates per study, with their structure and their phrasing.

Frequent phrases

Save the phrases you use most and call them up with a single word while dictating.

Comparison with prior studies

Plexo brings up the findings from the patient's prior study so you can compare without leaving the report.

Solid 7 mm nodule, low-risk patient, no prior studies. What follow-up is appropriate?
Plexo Intelligence

For a single solid 6–8 mm nodule in a low-risk patient, a follow-up CT at 6 to 12 months is suggested, then consider another at 18 to 24 months.

For the radiologist

Dictate as always. The report comes out clean.

Plexo works in your current RIS. It listens to the dictation, fixes clinical and formatting inconsistencies, and returns the report ready to sign.

Do I have to change how I dictate?

No. You dictate as always, at the station you already use. Plexo adapts to the way you dictate, not the other way around. If you're used to dictating commas, spaces or new paragraphs, Plexo recognizes them without a problem.

Does it work in my RIS?

Yes. Plexo connects and works inside your RIS in less than a week.

Does Plexo make the diagnosis?

No. Plexo transcribes, organizes and flags inconsistencies. The diagnosis and the signature always belong to the radiologist.

Which studies does it cover?

Every study: X-ray, ultrasound, CT, MRI, mammography, bone densitometry and more, with the option to customize the template for each one.

Does it adapt to my center's templates?

Yes. We set up the template for each study together with your medical team.

Try it with your center's reports.

We'll show you the full flow, from dictation to signature, with studies from your specialty.
